Junior/ Mid Automation QA Engineer – Remote CIM/SRL

Your Skills

  • Have minimum 1 year of experience in software testing web applications
  • Have minimum 1 year of experience in writing Javascript code
  • Have minimum 1 year of experience with test automation
  • Have knowledge of (generated) HTML/CSS structures
  • Have knowledge of QA concepts and processes (test types, test levels, what a test plan is, test case design techniques)
  • Have a basic understanding of software architectures and concept
  • Have the ability to work well with other engineering and analytical teams to arrive at optimal solutions to technical challenges.
  • Have proficiency in English – both written and conversational (B1 or higher)
  • Have the ability to work independently as well as working in a team
  • Have the desire to learn the domain and its’ business processes
  • Have an agile and team orientated mindset

What you`ll do

  • Be responsible for stable working, well-structured automated test cases
  • Be responsible for maintaining a future-proof, extensible architecture
  • Be responsible for continuous sync with the QA automation team and with the responsible development team
  • Build up architecture and restructure a small set of existing TestCafe test cases
  • Plan and write automated test cases based on existing manual test cases
  • Write automated tests based on test scenarios from legacy Selenium-based automated test cases
  • Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs
  • Track quality assurance metrics and identify ways to improve
