Mid/Senior QA Automation on Frontend (Javascript) – Remote – CIM/SRL

Our EMC / Navigator team takes care of the `Siemens Navigator`. This worldwide software solution from the Siemens Building Technologies Division is a cloud-based platform for the energy and sustainability management of buildings and properties, which is intended to support customers in increasing the energy efficiency of their buildings by minimizing energy consumption and the emission of climate-damaging greenhouse gases.

You

  • have minimum 3-4 years of experience in software testing web applications
  • have a minimum of 3-4 years experience with UI test automation
  • have a minimum of 2 years experience in writing Javascript code
  • have minimum 1-year experience with leading a team
  • have knowledge of (generated) HTML/CSS structures
  • have experience with building up a set of automated UI tests from scratch
  • have experience with UI test automation architecture
  • have knowledge of QA concepts and processes (test types, test levels, what a test plan is, test case design techniques)
  • have a basic understanding of software architectures and concepts

You will

  • work as leading part of a self-organized team (for Senior/Team Lead role, if that is the case)
  • take part in making architectural decisions as part of the team
  • responsible for delivering high-quality work
  • be responsible for stable working, well-structured automated test cases
  • be responsible for maintaining a future-proof, extensible architecture
  • be responsible for continuous sync with the QA automation team and with the responsible development team
  • build up architecture and restructure a small set of existing TestCafe test cases
  • plan and write automated test cases based on existing manual test cases
  • write automated tests based on test scenarios from legacy Selenium-based automated test cases
  • identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs
  • implement innovations and improvements in the team
